BVC hosted a series of events to celebrate World Book Week. Events included Drop Everything and Read where all students across the school took 20 minutes out to read for pleasure. Room 12 was also the venue for "Starbooks Cafe". Students congregated here to enjoy a book and a hot chocolate. Other events included the "Mindfulness" colouring session, the dress up as your favourite character competition, guess the teacher behind the book, the lunchtime Literary Trail and the Guess who came to Tea activity. The week ended with an exciting and hotly contested table quiz.
