The journal reflects the broad and diverse range of STEM subjects and related initiatives and projects offered across WWETB schools and centres. Included in the journal are articles submitted by staff, research reports from our Science Research Grant recipients, and content from across social media platforms within our organisation. You can also read details about some of our collaborative projects with outside organisations such as the National Biodiversity Data Centre and Calmast.
We hope you enjoy reading about the exciting and innovative examples of teaching, learning and assessment from subject areas such as Maths, Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Agricultural Science, Engineering, Applied Technology, Wood Technology/Construction, Graphics/DCG, Computer Science, biodiversity, and sustainability. The engagement and interest of our learners in these subject areas is apparent on every page!
We are also proud to include STEM teacher profiles of some of our own past pupils who now teach with or are school leaders in WWETB. We hope that their stories will inspire our current learners to consider careers in STEM.
