Welcome First Years

BVC opened its doors this week to welcome 62 new students to our school. First year students have now completed their 3 day induction programme and the school now resumes at full capacity with the highest student population on record. A selection of first year students are captured above engaging in team building activities with our Meitheal Leaders. While the transition to second level can be a daunting experience all students appear to have settled in very well. A special thanks to the first year class teachers who have helped to settle our students into their new environment.

Mr Murphy welcomed our new and old students back to school and expressed his optimism for the year ahead. New classrooms will be erected in the coming weeks to make way for our brand new school so 2021 promises to be another busy year. We are also hopeful that sports competitions and extra-curricular activities will soon commence again with the easing of Covid restrictions. Be sure to keep an eye on our website, school App and Facebook page for further updates throughout the year.
